As we head into the second month of 2021, the horizon on which lies the return of live music as we have always known it seems more visible, but still yet quite far away. In the meantime, supporting our favorite music venues is currently more important than ever, and this February and March, fans in the Philadelphia area and everywhere will have a great chance to do so.
This past Monday, The Ardmore Music Hall released a schedule of upcoming livestream events set to take place at the venue across the next two months. Fans will be able to tune in online to watch these livestreams, which will be free but encouraging donations for both musicians and the venue, and which will feature artists such as Dopapod, John Kadlecik, Consider The Source and more.
The schedule release comes ahead of two livestream performances scheduled to take place at The Ardmore this weekend. Jamtronica leaders The Disco Biscuits will perform in the space back to back on Friday February 5 and Saturday February 6. In addition to tuning into the livestreams, fans have the opportunity to purchase an exclusive poster for the shows, as well as purchase virtual access to a VIP soundcheck. The Ardmore meanwhile also has tons of cool merch that you can purchase to help support them as well.
Being longtime fans of The Ardmore for years, The Poke Around has been present for many memorable experiences at this music venue that has been a hotspot for both local and national and international performers. This past summer, the venue hosted a number of livestream performances for fans to watch, such as Philly local jam funk favorites Muscle Tough. It should come as no surprise that all the musicians set to perform in the upcoming livestream shows this spring have graced The Ardmore with their presence before.
