Five-piece jamtronica visionaries Papadosio are gearing up for their 2019 Content Coma Spring Tour, which begins on April 10 at Elevation 27 in Virginia Beach. Content Coma, the band’s latest studio creation, was released back in August 2018, and the vibrant and musically satisfying album has no doubt introduced both waves of new fans to the band, as well as a new and more enticing sounds to the band’s live repertoire.
You can be sure to catch The Poke Around hopping on Papadosio’s tour for the upstate New York portion of the run. It has been over four years since the band last graced any stage in Western New York, but on April 17, they will make a triumphant return to The Westcott Theatre in Syracuse, followed by a stop at The Haunt in Ithaca, NY on April 18. Then, on April 19, a send off to upstate at the historic Town Ballroom in Buffalo. On board to open each night are Cycles, the dynamic psychedelic rock trio from Denver, CO. Stay tuned for a tour check-in at Buffalo from The Poke Around, featuring a full gallery and article review!
Papadosio’s upstate NY performances come in the midst of a tour full of what should be truly memorable performances. The band will headline two nights at NYC’s Brooklyn Bowl, supported again by Cycles and also the following night by Brooklyn’s own Space Bacon. The Poke Around wouldn’t be surprised if those nights sell out ahead of show. Other noteworthy stops include sets at The National in Richmond, VA, the recently opened Asbury Lanes in New Jersey, and a showing at one of the reigning jam band events of springtime, Summer Camp Music Festival in Chillicothe, Illinois. Much of this spring tour will include opening sets from Cycles.
Perhaps most exciting of all, Papadosio is billed for May 11 to perform ahead of The Polish Ambassador at the one and only Red Rocks Amphitheater. At the apex of summer 2019, they will perform in the exclusive, one-of-a-kind Caverns in Pelham, Tennessee. Billed as “An Evening In The Earth,” this show is already sold out!
