There’s not a whole lot that is better than summertime in Buffalo NY: The Bills and The Sabres are both undefeated; Eric Starchild making the rounds trying to sell his jewelry; the sweet smell of Cheerios in the air; Bubble man adding to the spectacle that is Allen Street; and the melodic sounds of Mike Gantzer shredding the gnar! We are just a few days away from the second annual Cobblestone Live!
With this year’s lineup for the two-day festival truly stacked, Cobblestone District will be the place to be this weekend, with 4 stages with amazing music going all day and night. Hometown heroes Aqueous make their triumphant return to the motherland with 2 sets over 2 days. Turkuaz, Andy Frasco and the UN, The Sheep Dogs, Broken Social Scene and Chicano Batman, just to name a few, are also some of the nationally touring acts scheduled for the weekend. Local acts like Space Junk and Mosswalk are sure to please your ear holes too. The music scene is alive and well in the Queen City. Cobblestone Live is a shining example of that.
