Coming in during the middle of their Montage Tour, TAUK brings their spectacularly unique Rock-funk-jazz fusion to Asheville, for back-to-back nights at New Mountain AVL. On October 27-28, this all-instrumental New York-based powerhouse is sure to tread the familiar territory of engaging rhythms, mesmerizing riffs, and astral melodies that Asheville has become so accustomed to hearing.
TAUK’s Montage Tour started rolling close to home in the North East, circled counterclockwise around the entire country before passing through North Carolina, hitting up Hulaween, and landing back home in New York in November. Propelled by the momentum generated from the release of their fourth album, Sir Nebula, and recently released single, “Revenge of Weenus,” this 33-show tour has been showing fans that TAUK is perpetually stepping up the evolution of their sound. Empowered by their long-standing connection as a group, TAUK demonstrates how they are constantly pushing the limits of their already distinctively unique energy.
If you can’t wait until the weekend, here a sample from their recent visit to Electric Forest to get you ‘Tauking’:
