Red Wing Roots Festival, located at the picturesque Natural Chimneys Park in Mt.Solon, Virginia, will put on for its fifth go ‘round July 14-16. Four stages will showcase a deep lineup of American Roots musicians, including three-time Grammy winner Steve Earle and the Dukes, Lake Street Dive, The Steel Wheels, Jon Stickley Trio, The Lil’ Smokies, Larry Keel Experience, Billy Strings, two-time Grammy winner Sarah Jarosz, and Mandolin Orange, along with many others.
Hosted by local musicians The Steel Wheels, families up and down the I-81 Virginia corridor have quickly jumped on board with Red Wing, making it a staple summer outing. The venue has a natural capacity and has attracted sellout crowds on Saturday of the previous two years. Festival organizers expect near sellout of 3-day passes this year.
Built with family and the great outdoors in mind, Red Wing also provides a few unforgettable opportunities for hiking and biking tours, fun runs, and morning yoga, to name a few.
Whether you plant your chair, dance and shake your hair – either way, we’ll see you there!
