The initial lineup for Lockn’ Festival 2017 has been set, and it is looking great, with a few notable newcomers to the hallowed grounds of the Oak Ridge Estate in Arrington, Virginia.
Lockn’ veterans making their return to the festival will be Phil Lesh & Friends, Widespread Panic, The String Cheese Incident, Umphrey’s McGee, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Gov’t Mule, Keller Williams with his Grateful Gospel, Eric Krasno, and The Revivalists. Phil Lesh is also bringing back the Terrapin Family Band, who haven’t played on the farm since the first Lockn’, to play the Grateful Dead album Terrapin Station in its entirety.
There are a several exciting new faces joining the Lockn’ family this year, including Moe., Greensky Bluegrass, TAUK, The Avett Brothers, JJ Grey & Mofro, Marcus King Band, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, John Butler Trio, Los Colognes, Margo Price, The Suffers and finally, Brandi Carlile, who had to cancel her 2016 performance due to health reasons.
