The fourth annual Music Fest at Blue Bear Mountain will be held September 8-10 at the charming Blue Bear Mountain Campground just 8 miles north of Boone, North Carolina. The folks at Blue Bear have curated a top-notch lineup of local legends and rising stars to go with the family-friendly atmosphere at their pristine campgrounds.
Gracing the stage Friday night will be Town Mountain, the hard-driving string band from Asheville. These guys are coming off the April release of Southern Crescent, their fifth studio album that has gained widespread recognition as the band’s most accomplished effort to date. Also on Friday, making their return to Blue Bear Mountain is Sol Driven Train, a fan-favorite out of Charleston, South Carolina that has carved out an unmistakable sound from a diverse folk and roots-rock background.
Time to kick off those shoes and get ready to get down, because none other than The Larry Keel Experience and Acoustic Syndicate will be sharing a four-hour headlining spot on Saturday night. These two iconic Appalachian groups are all very close friends and have been collaborating for years now, so you can bet they are cooking up something very special for this one-of-a-kind performance.
Rounding out the rest of the lineup will be Charlyhorse, The Josh Daniel & Mark Schmick Project, The Jeff Little Trio, The Carter Brothers, The Get Right Band, Melissa Reaves, Handlebar Betty, Carol Rinn, Diana Wilcox, Never Too Late, and many more!
